Same Thing, Different Day
Went to church. Went to lunch with friends.
Came home. I was so tired I fell asleep for most of the afternoon.
Tucker still seems a bit off. While the other Boys look fine.
I will do a more thorough evaluation tomorrow.
Hope I am not coming down with something. Afternoon naps are not my normal "thing."

Sometimes we could all use a little down time. It's good to rest and regroup for the coming week.
ReplyDeleteRest is good for body and soul. I'll bet you'll feel better tomorrow - this changeable weather is tiring in itself.
ReplyDeleteIf I had my way, I would have spent most of my day curled in bed watching sappy movies. Your body was telling you something...you clearly needed a break.
ReplyDeleteUnlike you I love my afternoon nap, they last 30 minutes max, but it is my best rest in the 24 hours day ^-^
ReplyDeletePerhaps take some vitamins to boost you, fall is always a down-time, and tiring with the constant changes in the weather.
I actually took a little nap yesterday myself. I always get a little sleepy when the days get shorter. Likely it's just circadian rythms and serotonin levels acting up. I've always thought the idea of the "siesta" was a good one anyway.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone. At our age it's hard to go full speed ahead from 6 am to 9 pm. A nap makes the rest of the day more productive and pleasant.
