Just a Little Lungeing

Chance on the Line

I decided to lunge Chance today. Nothing special, just a nice little workout intensely observed by Toby and Tucker.

He was excellent, even when I had him go over the little jump.

His canter on both leads was lovely, cadenced and soft. He really does like to canter.

I didn't work Tucker in deference to his hock issues. I don't know if the medication has had any impact yet, but if the weather stays nice for the next few days, I will probably get on him for a little while to see what he tells me.

Meanwhile, it was a quiet day here at Follywoods.

  1. Nice! Is the Pentosan very expensive?
I will try to get some via my vet. I have found the Australian on-line Pharmacy that makes and sells it.
I woudl like to compare prices!

  3. With horses, quiet days are good days. Pentosan - will have to remember that.

  4. Muriel, I think my vet said it was somewhere in the neighbor hood of $100 for 50 ml. But he bills me later, so I am not sure.

Australia is where the drug originated, so getting it from there would be really good. Wedgewood is the place mine came from and that is prescription only so the vet has to order it.

  5. It's always nice to have a quiet day with the horses. Glad that Chance got to canter and have fun over some jumps.
