This is What I Woke Up to on Wednesday Morning
Need I say more?
I did go in to substitute, so aside from driving in the darn stuff, I didn't have to deal much with it. Too little to plow or shovel, and most melted by the afternoon. However, there seems to be a chance more of the stuff will flutter down tonight and tomorrow.
This does not make me a happy camper. A week ago it was over 70F.
That is why I keep an heavy weight rug on my balcony. I am convinced that if I put it away it will snow. I am sure it will snow again but today and tomorrow the temperature are in the 70s... O_o
ReplyDeleteBut IMO winter is not over yet ...
Looks about how we look this morning - and the wind is howling too. Ah, March . . .
ReplyDeleteI've learned not to get excited about "spring" until May around here. The weather is just too unpredictable! I can remember being snowed on at a horse show in April one year. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it wasn't much. We just got cold rain with some slushy ice down here. Annoying, but not too bad.
*chuckle* I like your title. It's about what I said yesterday and today when I woke up. There's nothing like a Spring snowstorm (even if it's not much) to really be depressing. Just when you think it's over...surprise it's not!Hopefully, it will melt by afternoon.
ReplyDeleteCrazy!! You have gotten a ridiculous amount of that nasty fluffy stuff this year.
ReplyDeleteGot that same dump of snow here, and minus freezing temps for the next few days. Apparently last week was just a tease.
ReplyDeleteJean,
ReplyDeleteThis is my first visit. Saw you over at Aspen Meadows. Just had to send you a post after reading your profile.
It snowed here again (Brockport, NY), I am a retired art teacher, have horses, sing alto in a chorus of 50 and am totally uninterested in subbing.
