Surgery Went Well
I am a bit sore but already walking down the hall with a wlker and a physical therapist. Pain is tolerable so I should manage OK.
Just got the bandages off and I have a rather long line of staples down my leg across my knee joints. Comes with the territory.
Using Hospital keyboard on the Tv and it's a bit strange.
Nurses are great here with super care and the food is pretty good.

So glad all went well so far - once you get past the rehab, new knees should make a world of difference.

I'm so happy to hear that everything went well and you have your new knees. It's amazing how quickly they get you up and have you exercising those knees. Once the staples come out you will feel a lot better. Glad you can communicate with us too. Let us know how your progressing. Sending good healing thoughts your way.

The scary part is behind you. No more anticipating the knife. Take it slow and steady. Treat yourself as you would one of your horses and you'll be fine. Best wishes.ER

ReplyDeleteI'm glad the surgery went well. Now comes the hard part -- physical therapy. Work hard - the results are well worth the effort and pain.
ReplyDeleteSo glad all went well with surgery. I know you are anxious to get rehab done and get home, but don't push too hard or you may do damage to those healing muscles and ligaments and have to start all over again. I'll call you when you get home. Any news on how the boys and kitties are doing without you?
