Power's Out

Snowstorm

Much to report, actually, but it will have to wait until I have proper power. I need to conserve energy.

Chance is recovered on limited exercise and Tucker has a hoof abscess,

Snow has downed power lines somewhere and we can't get any info from the power company. The roads are quite slippery and a number of cars have ended up in the ditches.

Not a pretty prelude to winter, I fear.

Back when electricity and perhaps Internet is on again??????? Working on not very charged batteries.

  3. I think your storm is left over from the one we had. We got ten inches and it was very wet. Lots of people lost power but we were lucky and didn't. We can't complain though 'cause we needed the moisture.

  4. Finally got through to the power compaqny's automated line. Supposedly they didn't know we didn't have power. Latest update: Wednesday??!!

Not sure any of us could hold on that long...I will need water for horses, that's for sure. *sigh*

  6. White Halloween doesn't have quite the same charm as White Christmas, does it? I hope you have a way of staying warm. If it makes you feel better, it's still warm enough here that the flies annoy the horses when we ride. (Unless you have some monstrous snow-flies that I don't know about?)
