I actually ju...This happens all the time to us! :(
I actually just got a little kitten about 2 weeks ago - I had been looking very casually for a kitten anyways, my first personal one ever although I'd had family cats years ago. He had been dumped, so I scooped him up, saw that he was EXTREMELY flea anemic and starved to death. He was also having mini seizures. We tried saving for a week, fed him every 2 hours, so on, but the baby just didn't make it. It makes me sick that someone dumped him like that. At least have the decency to drop it off at a vet and be honest with yourself. You're one of us who carry the weight of knowing "someone" should take care of a situation. No point scanning the horizon for others to notice and step up.
Your new barn mates sound cute. They shouldn't be too hard to trap, with food.
Did I share with you that I was completely reimbursed by the county, who have a voucher system to get cats spayed and neutered?
Two cats spayed, rabies shots, feline leukemia shots, worming and flea treatment. I fronted the money but got it back.
I was surprised and impressed.
English Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01712384532126551307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29272013.post-46964782766042359682015-10-17T08:53:46.722-04:002015-10-17T08:53:46.722-04:00I think you've effectively put a good curse on...I think you've effectively put a good curse on the uncaring jerk that abandoned the kittens to your horse farm. Hope the kitties survive and become trusting enough for you to catch them.Grey Horse Mattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05837575441967937196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29272013.post-4997987192594402782015-10-17T07:22:57.536-04:002015-10-17T07:22:57.536-04:00When I was growing up, we lived on a country road,...When I was growing up, we lived on a country road, and the same thing happened - all the time.
