That's funny about Toby being a bad influence on the others. Our Paint is the opposite. If you whistle, he comes galloping in from the far edges of their 12 acre pasture & sometimes the others will follow along! Much easier than hiking out to my lackadaisical TB!! Interesting your boys' different approaches (literally!) to jumping.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12314973421591276840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29272013.post-25395821754477923162010-06-27T19:21:12.825-04:002010-06-27T19:21:12.825-04:00Sounds like you are having a great day! It is really good for them to have varied exercise routines. Just like humans... keeps them and us from become bored and sour!

Stay cool and enjoy the swim!Stephanie - Siouxzeegirl Designshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14118363027417990384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29272013.post-62273638456298657012010-06-27T17:49:45.063-04:002010-06-27T17:49:45.063-04:00You are on a roll and you still have more than hal...You are on a roll and you still have more than half the day ahead of you. I do like to introduce a little jumping for their physical and mental abilities to deal with anything that comes up.

I just got in from doing some small cavelletti courses with Dusty. Not too bad today, but it's really hot and humid out there. I'm heading for some breakfast before doing stalls. Have a nice swim.Grey Horse Mattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05837575441967937196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29272013.post-63758026425621511152010-06-27T11:19:51.065-04:002010-06-27T11:19:51.065-04:00I'm hoping to reintroduce Dawn to jumping - ve...I'm hoping to reintroduce Dawn to jumping - very slowly - as I think she'd find it fun once she got past her historic fear issues around jumping (from some very bad "training" she was subjected to) - she's certainly athletic enough. She'd be more of a jumper type than a hunter, I think, but who knows? Maisie doesn't have the confirmation for it - despite being bred to be a hunter - and I wouldn't want to risk her soundness.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
